yes i can reproduce this 100% of the time by trying to open a window for
a specific client, with latest up to date system

Bug description:
every time i open a chat window for a specific contact, empathy
crashes.
for some reason, apport doesn't send the crash report, but silently
exits, so attaching the /var/crash file to this manually filed bug
