Mouse buttons cannot be switched at the login screen (no left-handed
mouse support)

Bug description:
I swapped the primary and secondary mouse buttons under the
Preferences menu and I am able to use a left-handed mouse under Ubuntu
after I log in. However, at the login screen, the mouse remains right-
handed despite having it switched under preferences.
