evolution crashed with SIGSEGV in gtk_style_context_get_valist()

Bug description:
I removed Evolution from (purge and delete hidden files in my user account)
Ubuntu 12.04, then upgraded to 12.10 then installed Evolution. When setting up
a gmail account with the assistant, calendar and contacts show up, but not the
emails. Then Evolution crashes. On following launch, Evolution does not recall
the set up gmail acocunt.
I do not have this problem with the 12.10 live cd.
