Title: Screen alignment out of wack at login screen Status in “nvidia-graphics-drivers” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: When Ubuntu boots, grub, plymouth is properly aligned. When it gets to the login screen it is shifted to the left about an inch. autorest on the monitor does nothing. Manually adjusting the screen does not work because it turns out the login screen is too wide, and that messes up the alignment after you log in. and when you login the the alignment returns to normal. Strangely when I login to a kde session the issue disappears until I log into unity/gnome session again.
