Bug description:
My netbook has a small screen, so when loading gnome-control-center
(or sometimes ccsm), it opens a maximized window. On the appearance
pane, when dragging the "Launcher Icon Size" slider, while the icons
in the launcher resize, the window resizes as well, jumping left and
right and pulling the slider with it, so the icon sizes oscillate back
and forth. (This happens when changing the size in ccsm as well, but
since it uses a scale button instead, it is a bit easier to resize).
On my desktop with a larger monitor, it is more difficult to
reproduce, since the window isn't maximized, so doesn't move around at
all when resizing, however if you load a maximized app (I used
chromium-browser in my experiments) in the background and then open
gnome-control-center in the foreground, while dragging the slider back
and forth you can see similar behavior.
This is with the Launcher always visible (the default).
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open a maximized app (if using a decently sized monitor)
2) Open gnome-control-center and click Appearance
3) Drag the "Launcher Icon size" slider back and forth a bit
4) Notice the maximized window jumping around quite a bit while resizing
