Title:
x-server randomly freezes on integrated intel graphics device (celeron
  g530)

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I'm using fresh Precise install on an Intel Celeron G530, Asrock
  H61M/U3S3, 4GB Corsair PC1333, Samsung SSD 830 64GB.

X-Server crashes in Unity, Unity3D and Gnome-Shell. It doesn't crash
(or hasn't yet crashed) in a dedicated XBMC login. The system doesn't
react on neighter mouse- nor keyboard-input and the video-output gets
stuck. However, during such a crash, my Samba and DLNA shares keep on
  working just fine.

I don't know how to reproduce the bug because it is occurring
randomly. It may take half an hour, or longer; also it doesn't matter
what I'm currently doing (i could just sip a cup of tea after booting
and it will crash — given enough time). But in my experience, the
system is more likely to crash after waking up from suspend
  (respectively, it's quicker to crash).

I've also tried using the xorg-edgers PPA, but the crashes kept
  occurring.

Please let me know how to gather more information that may help you
  with this.
