Title:
thunderbird 2.0 couldn't manage any attachment (pdf,
archives..etc..).Every time i try to open a file attached to a message
  it can't be opened

Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

Each time I try to open a file attached to a message (i.e. pdf file,
archive file (rar, zip)) in thunderbird 2.0.0.6, it's not possible to
  open it.

For a tar.gz i get this output error:

gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
  tar: EOF unexpected in archive
  tar: fatal error: exit

Instead, if I access the email trough web and I download the file, everything
works fine.
