Title:
  apport falls into infinite loop

Status in “apport” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Whenever apport gets triggered or when I manually invoke report to
report a bug it goes into an infinite loop, not answwering, exiting,
nor opening a window and it takes 100% CPU until I kill it. I do not
get any files in /var/crash/, so there is also no way to manually
  investigate the problem.

This is a severe problem to fix the final bugs and to get testing feedback in
the end of the Quantal cycle. Therefore I mark it as "Critical"...
