  libreoffice writer deleted text reappears on following page

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  In openffice-writer, when blocks of text are selected and deleted, one
  (or more?) apparently random chunk may reappear down in the same
  document, on an already created page (when reviewing, for ex.). Never
  observed until recently.
