Title:
virtual display crashes on setting
Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I am using a Sony Vaio Model VPCF115FM and I have a Samsung SyncMaster
204B attached on external standard VGA port... by default when I load
the ubuntu (current version, just D/led and burned to CD) The laptop's
monitor is on the left side, and the samsung is on the right... so I
turn off mirroring and move the samsung to the left side where it
is... and when I press apply, it goes dark and a blank screen, crashes
as far as I know... maybe I have to wait longer, but as far as I know,
this is instant. Works fine on other Linux distros... so I know it's
not my hardware.. please help, thanks.
