[i965] Resume from suspend leaves me with black screen or a screen of the
desktop before it suspended. Compiz hung in intel_update_renderbuffers() from
intel_prepare_render() from brw_draw_prims()

Resuming my login session fails after resume via lid-open
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
If I'm logged in and suspend my machine via lid-close, sometimes when
I resume my machine via lid-open, a black screen is displayed with a
working cursor, however I cannot enter my password and resume my user
session.
At this point, I have to switch to a VT and reboot the machine.
I'm running Precise with all the latest updates as of this morning
applied.
