Hi Christopher, I ran the command, but it returned a message saying that the package was not installed. (I looked and apparently this is right. I don't have the package 'libreoffice' installed, rather I have libreoffice-writer, libreoffice-calc, etc. If this means that I didn't properly file the bug, sorry!)
Also, I'm trying to make a file of the type you ask for, but I can't get it to work. The documents on which I'm experiencing the problem have been students' papers that are emailed to me as .docx files. I insert comments on them, and then resave them (in a different folder than the original, if that matters), again in .docx format. I've attached one of the papers here, but as a .docx. If you add a comment at the very end of the body text (before the works cited), and then save, the comment will not be there when you re-open the document. Interestingly, I found that if I add a comment at the end of the line that says 'Works Cited,' the comment box saves, but not the text in it. ** Attachment added: "Example" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1066405/+attachment/3397799/+files/sample%20document.docx -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1066405 Title: Writer doesn't save final comment in .docx format Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: What happens: In some cases, when saving a document with comments in .docx format, the last comment is not saved (other comments are saved as they should be.) This happens only some of the time, and I can't find any factors that separate the cases where it works from the ones when it does not. I have not experienced this when saving in .odt or .doc formats. What should happen: All comments should be saved.
