yes it still happens every time. I cannot report via apport as reported
above, the window never opens, even if i apport the crash file
explicitly. the .crash file is attached above.

Bug description:
every time i open a chat window for a specific contact, empathy
crashes.
for some reason, apport doesn't send the crash report, but silently
exits, so attaching the /var/crash file to this manually filed bug
