Sorry for the slow response.
Unfortunately, this bug report does not contain nearly enough information for
developers to do anything with it. If you still experience the problem, please
reopen the report and provide the error output:
1. close Ubuntu Software Center, if it's open already
2. enter the command "software-center" in a Terminal window
3. trigger the problem
4. copy any error output from the Terminal window, and paste it into this bug
report.
If your concern is installing security updates, you can't do that in
Ubuntu Software Center anyway. Use Update Manager instead.

Title:
The "INSTALL" keeps hanging up and will not complete the task.
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: software-center
I've been attempting to assist this install, however; I feel helpless because
of it's longevity
in this single process. There are hackers trying to get into my system. I'd
like to get rid of
some of these problems. Leaving my system connected to the INTERNET is
dangerous
and costly. Can you guys speed up this process "PLEASE"?
Thank you
Veron E Jones!
