Title:
  usb mouse doesn't work

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
  Release: 12.04

I'm running LTS on a Dell Inspiron mini. Lately, I've been having
problems with wired usb mice. They will work in the login screen,
but then nothing once the window manager loads. unloading and
reloading hid or usbhid will get it working again, but only for a few
moments. At all times, the device is listed if I type xsetpointer
-l I can replicate the problem with a different make of mouse, but
not at all on the desktop. The touchpad works thoughout.
