Ran:
sudo apt-get -y install -f
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get -y clean
sudo apt-get -y remove --purge fglrx-updates fglrx-amdcccle-updates

and worked without crashing.

  1)  lsb_release -rd

  2) apt-cache policy fglrx

  3) What is expected to happen is when one installs fglrx, reboots, uninstalls 
it, then types:
  sudo apt-get -y remove --purge fglrx-updates fglrx-amdcccle-updates

  it does not fail.

  What happens instead is it failed.
