I have this problem with Ubuntu 12.10. In 12.04 everything worked fine,
but after upgrade HUD in LibreOffice stopped to work. I have read
somewhere that installing lo-menubar doesn't solve this issue.

Bug description:
The HUD doesn't seem to work properly with LibreOffice Writer and it
can't find standard menu items.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a document in LibreOffice Writer
2. Select some text
3. Press ALT: the HUD opens
4. Type "char"
Expected behaviour:
The Format > Character menu option should appear
Actual behaviour:
No LibreOffice menu items appear at all.
