Specifically, from http://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-1.2-all.zip I downloaded it to directory Downloads The directory was opened in file manager PCManFM Right click and select Expand Here... The window opened with the following: "The application Archive Manager has closed unexpectedly." Executable path was /usr/bin/file-roller Let me know if you have other questions. This is still happening.
