Title: FOSS graphics drivers fail to start Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Upgraded from 12.04 to 12.10 (64-bit both). Now system can't start with radeon or nvidia cards, X server fails to create screen. [ 18.757] Fatal server error: [ 18.757] no screens found MacPro 2008, grub 2.0, booting via efi, kms works fine. tried 8800gt, gtx560ti, radeon 6870/6970, all with efi part allowing to have efi bootscreen.
