Title: System freeze after issuing "halt" as root Status in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Procedure: 1. Open tty (CTRL+ALT+1) or open gnome-terminal 2. Become root using "sudo -i", "su" or after logging in as root 3. type "halt" and press enter Expected Result: System shutdown, as the command 'halt' is commonly used to shutdown linux systems.
