Title:
Epiphany auto-reload does not preserve scroll position
Status in Epiphany Browser:
Incomplete
Status in “epiphany-browser” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
Binary package hint: epiphany-browser
Steps to reproduce:
1. In Epiphany, open a local HTML file which doesn't fit on one screen.
Scroll down.
2. Modify the HTML file in an editor. (Epiphany auto-reloads the page.)
What happens:
Epiphany scrolls the page back up to the top.
Expected:
The scroll position should be preserved, just like it is when I press
"Reload" in Epiphany or Firefox.
Version:
This appears in Epiphany 2.18.1 (Feisty).
