This was marked as "Fix Released" a while ago. Is the fix in Ubuntu yet?

Title:
Rhythmbox fails to play songs the first time if they are not imported
  to library

Status in The Rhythmbox Music Management Application:
  Fix Released
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: rhythmbox

  Version 0.12.5-0ubuntu5.2

  Karmic Koala 32bit

Essentially, rhythmbox requires the play command twice in order to
play a song which is not in its music library. This breaks any
compatibility with software that would use it as an audio player
  (gpodder, nautilus etc.)

  To reproduce.

  1) Find a music file on your machine which is NOT in the rhythmbox
  library.

  2) Right-Click the file and select "open with rhythmbox"

  3) If rhythmbox is already playing a file, notice that the file being
played will pause, but the new file will not be loaded unless this
step is repeated. If rhythmbox is not already playing a file, the
file may or may not load, but will not play. If rhythmbox was not
running at all, it will open, but not load or play the file.

My expectation: Rhythmbox should play any audio file the first time,
regardless of whether or not it has been previously added to the library.
