In version 22.0 at least, one can edit any and mark any CA as untrusted,
and thus they will receive no weight in authenticating certificates.

Title:
Cannot remove Diginotar CA from Chromium

Status in “chromium-browser” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Following the recent information about Diginotar, I wanted to disable
this CA in Chromium-browser. This is impossible: the "delete" button
is grayed out. It seems to be active only for the CAs that I installed
myself (e.g. my employer's), but not for the preinstalled CAs.

This seems both a security weakness (users cannot disable CAs as soon
as major problems are discovered) and a breach of user freedom (each
user should be able to select trust as he or she wishes).
