to be a "regular" (non-security) bug.  I have unmarked it as a security
issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to
cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy.

  unable to open terminal and the side bar of desktop is gone

  i installed an application for live wallpaper and configuring the display 
properties the system restarted .
  Now, i cannot access the terminal and the taskbar as well as the side bar of 
desktop are gone .
  Is there any way so that i can restore to back date .
