Confirming what Hannes_S has described before: I'm still seeing this on
12.10 if I stream sound to a pulseaudio server over the network.

Title:
  progress bar doesn't scroll

Status in “pulseaudio” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: rhythmbox

The progress bar in Rhythmbox doesn't scroll for any song. It stays
at 0:00, unless I move it in which case it stays at wherever I moved
it to. Since it never reaches the end of a song (progress-wise) it
never goes on to the next song. The song still plays through
perfectly, and hitting the next button works fine. The output of
rhythmbox --debug indicates: "slider is not dragging"
