Public bug reported:

I actually got this bug before, I can't remember if it was with ubuntu
11.10 or ubuntu 12.04 at the beginning of the release

but after some updates, it was working fine in 12.04
now, in 12.10 it came back

after resume from suspend the audio works only from the headphones, not
from the speakers

I looked at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems and
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshooting

I tried to kill pulseaudio and restart but nothing changes, I tried to
run "alsa force-reload" to no avail
