Title:
With Wi-Fi network whose passphrase has changed, NM fails to connect,
asks for password again, repeat; deleting the connection fixes it

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
Last month, I connected to the ESSID Ubuntu-2.4GHz-g with a passphrase
in one office. Today, I connect to the same ESSID with a different
passphrase in another office. I expected Network Manager to prompt for
the new passphrase and then connect. Instead, what actually happens is
that Network Manager tries for a long time, finally prompts me for the
new passphrase and continues trying until it prompts me once again and
  so forth.

The workaround for the problem was to edit my connections, delete the
ESSID and then select the ESSID again. Now, I can connect to report
  this bug :)
