Title:
lock screen is missing music controls

Status in “gdm” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I upgraded to 12.10 and installed
  ubuntu-gnome-desktop
  ubuntu-gnome-default-settings
and switched over to gdm, expecting to have music controls on the lock screen
(which is very nice, by the way)
I also added the gnome 3.6 ppa
(http://ppa.launchpad.net/gnome3-team/gnome3/ubuntu)

I have tried with either banshee or rhythmbox playing music, neither
of them cause any controls to appear on the lock screen. This question
  has been asked at http://askubuntu.com/questions/204813/gnome-lock-
  screen-screensaver-is-missing-music-controls without any answers
