Title:
cannot connect to WPA encrypted ad-hoc network using nm-applet

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Create a WPA encrypted ad-hoc network on a Windows 7 machine and
turned on Internet Connection Sharing. I am unable to associate to the
  network using Lucid.

Furthermore, even without encryption, I cannot connect to the network
with nm-applet. However, If I remove Network Manager and use iwconfig
and dhclient, then I am able to connect to a *NON* - WPA encrypted ad-
hoc network created in Windows 7.
