Title:
software-updater incorrectly displays "You stopped the check for
updates"
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Expected behavior: display a list of updates
What happens: dialog box that says "You stopped the check for updates" (which
I don't think I did)
Expected behavior when I choose "Check again": display a list of updates
What happens: "You stopped the check for updates"
Followed by update-manager dialog box "Task cannot be monitored or
controlled" "The connection to the daemon was lost. Most likely the
background daemon crashed."
apt-get update/upgrade works - software-updater has same behavior
after I run it.
