I think it has no sense that a menu with (emot)icons doesn't show this icons. I used to solve this fact in Natty activating 'buttons_have_icons' or 'menus_have_icons' in gconf-editor, but it doesn't work in Oneiric. Creo que es absurdo que un menú con (emot)iconos no muestre esos iconos.
