Bug description:
Installing fglrx driver results in no desktop on fresh install of
ubuntu 12.10 64 bit, and generates crash reports. I installed using
software sources and manual install by command line. the lightdm
login screen will show and allow me to log in and thats it, no unity
desktop after that, I can get gnome fallback because I installed gnome
shell. On a side note the install of 12.10 has been by far the most
frustrating I've experienced in 3 years.
