  No sounds, no Videos, impossible to download plug ins

Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I mean is no Bug.i have Ubuntu 10.10 want to update,but don't now how?
  Have Install Ubuntu like try Version on the windows XP.
  Can't open Ubuntu Sowtware Center.
  No Souns, NO Videos from XP Mediafiles.
  Try to insatll VCL Mediaplayer.Extracted but nothing happen.
  Maybe I'm not enough involed to ubuntu.
  Need help to start use Ubuntu10.10 or higher Version.
