Software center freeze after put long invalid search query
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
If you enter long invalid search query in search box (in my case i put
here html code by mistake) software center use 100% CPU and slow down
completly whole system. It hapeens also after restart software center,
system or even after reinstall (using apt-get purge) software-center
package.
