Title:
Emacs server not shutting down when logging out of Unity or closing
Ubuntu
Status in GNU Emacs:
Unknown
Status in “emacs-defaults” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Status in “gnome-session” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
When I shut down my ubuntu environment, if I have been working with
emacs started as server it asks me if I want to kill emacs damon. And
I have to manually click 'Close' in order for the shut down to
continue and it takes quite long. Instead if I kill the server before
logging out the logout/shutdown process is very fast.
