  [Dell E6420] Mic not working in Ubuntu 12.04

Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  The internal mic of my laptop is not working in Skype and doesn't show
  up under Input in the Sound settings.

  Internal speakers are working fine.

  The microphone of a USB headset is working fine.
