Title:
[RFE] Allow Bug Reporting Against Linux Package on Nexus 7
Status in “apport” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
It is currently not possible to report a bug against the linux package
when running Ubuntu on a Nexus 7. Apport does not know about the
specific kernel version running on these devices.
How to reproduce:
- On a Nexus 7 device try to report a kernel bug:
ubuntu-bug linux
Apport will then collect data, but will not submit to Launchpad. The
following error is reported:
Window title:
"Problem in linux-image-3.1.10-6-nexus7"
This problem cannot be reported:
This is not an official Ubuntu package. Please remove any third party
package and try again.
The current kernel version is: linux-image-3.1.10-6-nexus7. However, it is
possible the kernel version will change over time.
