Title: Natty freezes after boot from USB key Status in “xserver-xorg-video-ati” package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: When trying to boot Natty from a USB key, created with usb-creator, I see the Ubuntu splash screen, Gnome is being loaded and I can hear the Ubuntu start sound but then the desktop just freezes. I can move the cursor around but clicks don't have any effect. I can switch to console and do stuff. I tried typing »sudo gdm« but it just gave me an error. I'm using an HP Compaq 6715s with Radeon X1250 (RS690M) Chip and only Ethernet cable connected. Bluetooth and Wireless are turned off. I cannot find any messages in X-Server log but there is some in syslog and other log files. Please tell me which log files you need and how I can save them so I can copy them to Maverick on my HDD. Let me know what to do and if you need further information.
