  everytime i boot i have to select mic as my input device

Status in “pulseaudio” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pulseaudio

  everytime i boot i have to select mic as my input device.otherwise it
  selects my line in as default.(it dosent save my preference)i have to
  celect some other in put and then mic again to make it work.it was
  there in jaunty.now in karmic too.
