Title:
Can't create links from Network Browser

Status in Nautilus:
  Fix Released
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

  I am using Gutsy Beta.

I click Places > Network and use the excellent GUI to get to a folder
on my file server that I use all the time. Because I use it all the
time, I would like to have a link to there on my desktop.

I middle-click-drag the SMB shared folder from the Network Browser in
Nautilus over to my desktop and release. I select "Link Here". I get
an error saying "Error "Unsupported operation" while creating a link
  to "smb://ubun...ed%20Files"."

I right-click the folder and select "Make Link". I get the same error:
"Error "Unsupported operation" while creating a link to
  "smb://ubun...ed%20Files".

It would be *great* if this worked, but if it doesn't then these
  options need to be removed.
