Hi Raymond,

Your patch only affects the state of PCM when PulseAudio is muted, so it is 
unlikely to fix this particular problem.
On other systems it might prevent proper muting or powersaving, so I believe it 
should not be applied.

  Logitech USB Speakers do not produce sound. Buttons on speakers
  correctly control volume in "Sound Preferences", and speaker light is
  on indicating power. Everything seems to be working, but no sound is
  produced.
