Title:
pidgin automatically answers audio and video calls from gmail web
  application

Status in “pidgin” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pidgin

I tried to make a video and audio calls to one of my gmail accounts
(logged in from pidgin) from another of my gmail accounts (logged in
from gmail web app), and pidgin would answer them automatically
without asking me if I want to answer. I expected, that pidgin would
ask me if I wanted to answer the incoming call, but it would not ask
  and would answer it automatically.

Maybe this will help too: I had Empathy installed and configured, but
not open, when this problem happened.
