It is occurring intermittently still. I can confirm this on my Lenovo ThinkPad X220 and a friend's desktop PC, both running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
It is reproducible, but since it occurs intermittently, it makes it difficult to see. Go into Nautilus and try double-clicking items. Adjusting the double-click timeout does not help. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/405793 Title: nautilus double click not working Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Linux 2.6.31-4-generic-pae #22-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 24 19:03:34 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux Ubuntu karmic 9.10 Some times, double click on folder/files have no affect.
