I'm also experiencing this issue on a multi-CD set. I put in the 2nd CD,
and it detected it as the 1st in the set.

Title:
  Rhythmbox frequently loading wrong CD information

Status in The Rhythmbox Music Management Application:
  New
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: rhythmbox

  Rhythmbox is frequently loading wrong CD information. For example,
  some discs in a "Complete Tales of Beatrix Potter" audio book set load
  correct information, but others load cd and track titles that appear
  to be non-commercial, home made CDs.

  I'd be interested to know what identifier Rythmbox is using for CDs to
  cause this to happen. Perhaps multiple identifiers could be used -
  e.g., a disc ID AND track number AND total duration.

  ProblemType: Bug
  Architecture: amd64
  DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
  ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/rhythmbox
  NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia
  Package: rhythmbox 0.12.0-0ubuntu4
  ProcEnviron:
   LANG=en_AU.UTF-8
   SHELL=/bin/bash
  SourcePackage: rhythmbox
  Uname: Linux 2.6.28-13-generic x86_64
