Basically al windows changed to a modal window. This problem is reproducable after restarting the system. The best way for me to reproduce is by opening several torrent with transmission, but it seems to occur with other applications as well. p.s. I also noticed that the only application not having this problem is google Chrome. The reason for this probably is that Google chrome behaves different from other windows because it does not use ubuntu windows buttons but keeps using the old style buttons on the right side of the window.
