Public bug reported:

I've spent 30 minutes selecting songs from my library and putting them into the
play list. These songs were meant to last the whole evening, but of course the
order in which I have selected them is NOT the order in which they should play.
Of course I have selected all songs of one album one after the other, bit OF
COURSE this is not the order I want them to play.
No problem, one should think, I've got one of the most advanced pieces of
software to play this play list. Let's just elect "shuffle". It's a feature
every software player has.
-- Well, not banshee. There's no F*CKing way to shuffle the play queue. WHY?
WHY THE HELL is banshee lacking this basic feature? EVERY queue offered by a
software player is expected to have the feature "shuffle". Banshee's play queue
does not have this feature. I can't get it. Is this a joke? Well, if you really
do NOT want people to use banshee, go ahead. I simply don't get what you are up
for. But I will chose another player for my next party. Banshee just let me
down.
