may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test

apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

Thunderbird freezes computer when composing email

Bug description:
Binary package hint: thunderbird
Freezes computer while composing a new email.
Always occurs while typing the email.
I went from Ubuntu 9.04 to Ubuntu Studio 8.04. Using the same version
of thunderbird though. That version is 2.0.0.22. I always keep my
mozilla config files when I reinstall a new OS and I've never had a
problem till now.
