Title:
[SATELLITE P850, Realtek ID 280, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all

Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Description: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
  Release: 12.04

  Dual-boot installation.
Sound works fine under Windows 7 (64)
Under Ubuntu 12.04 (64bit) there is, and has never been a sound. It is a
brand new computer, so i have no experiences with previous versions of Ubuntu.

When i look in my sound settings, there is only one device for output. My PC
has two devices, one for HDMI and one for analog output. It shows the analog
output (Built-in Audio)
I have googled and tried to find a solution - with no luck so far
