Hi michael. This report does not seem to describe a bug in Ubuntu
Software Center. I'm moving it to jockey (the "Additional Drivers"
utility).

  proprietory drivers app. is locked WHY?

Bug description:
  i need a few proprietory drivers for 1 single item my kodak printer and the 
app . for allowing that is locked with a padlock symbol 
  you know i tried your system because im fed up with M.S. and personaly i like 
it a little aggraveted because im unfamiliar with it 
  but i will give it time but plz can you help with this my son goes to college
