nothing configurable in BIOS for the sound card (as usual)
sound was working (5.1) with the previous OS ( XP )
alsamixer shows nothing muted
keyboard shortcut popups correctly the sound indicator
the same problem in ubuntu (live usb for test) and xubuntu (fresh install)
